Sacred Motherhood
Restorative Practice

A monthly ritual of mothers amid all stages of motherhood showing up for themselves in a new way. It is a cathartic experience of restorative yoga and connection. In a circle of like-minded mothers we let go of perfectionism, show up just as we are, and reclaim life-balance.

Empowerment

rise up, wonder woman!
This mother-focused practice holds space for all our emotions, allowing them to come to the surface and release through the body. It’s about feeling your way through your body, letting go of perfectionism, and finding your unique innate rhythm. You're gently invited to find your way back home to yourself, anchor into your inner life-force, and trust your instincts.

Holistic Self-Care

calm body, clear mind, open heart
A monthly ritual of showing up for yourself in a new way. It’s about love and loyalty to your whole self. We carve out space for ourselves each month, and show up again and again, even in the muddles and marvel amid motherhood. Through sacred ceremony, restorative/gentle yoga, inspiring journaling prompts, heartfelt dialogue, and experiential crafts. You'll dig deep. You'll leave feeling clarity, realigned, and refreshed.

Sisterhood

where feminine power &  grace is mirrored
We crave real connection with other mothers. We heal when we are together. Inside our sacred motherhood circle, we practice being vulnerable and sharing who we truly are. This gives others permission to do the same and allows us all to grow. When we open in this way, our world naturally changes. We have more
patience, confidence, and strength, which has a ripple effect on everything around us.

Mama Project

Picture
To bring the theme alive, we'll spend about 45-ish minutes crafting at each gathering. All materials are included! Here is a preview of the amazing mama projects we'll be diving into - sacred motherhood malas, sealing ceremony, zentangles lotus greeting cards, embellished altar candles (pictured above), prayer bundles, sacred vows, medicine walk, the mother's wisdom deck, ojo de dios, mother blessing, despacho, embellished bath salts.

WHAT IS SACRED MOTHERHOOD RESTORATIVE PRACTICE?

Sacred Motherhood Restorative Practice consists of monthly mini retreats for mothers of all ages.

These mini-retreats are held one Sunday afternoon per month for three and a half hours, flow with the current season, and ceremoniously weave a tapestry of restorative yoga, guided relaxation, inspiring writing prompts, meaningful dialogue, a mama self-care project, honest self reflection, manifesting + releasing, and soulful music.

What if mothers gave ourselves the grace to show up just as we are – imperfect, messy, raw, and beautiful? To be open and vulnerable because there we will find we’re are not alone. To commit to ourselves. To remember to breathe - even amid the challenge. To connect deeply with ourselves, and other mothers. To live from our creative self. To lift the veil of perfection and remember who we truly are. To fill our inner well so we can care for loved ones from a place of fullness.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE?

This is not a typical yoga class. The Sacred Motherhood Restorative Practice is a cathartic experience of yoga, self-discovery, and connection. Participants experience three and a half uninterrupted hours to practice showing up unapologetically and authentically. And together we will gently move our bodies and hearts to soulful music, self-discover through inspiring journaling prompts, dive deep into amazing dialogue with fellow mothers, explore self-love and personal development, tap into our creativity with a sacred self care project related to the class theme, and access our spiritual essence through sacred ceremony. And in this safe container together, we really get to unravel and re-connect with who we truly are.

We’re longing to feel better in our bodies, but we often struggle to commit because we’re giving and giving and giving to everyone around us, so we don’t actually carve out time to show up for ourselves. We crave deep connection with other women, yet we are scared of what others might think of us.

So, I began thinking of a way to create a sacred space for mothers to come together and practice the brave and important work of showing up for themselves - and each other - in a compassionate and nourishing way; ultimately filling their inner wells. Thus, allowing mothers to care for others from a place of wholeness.  The Sacred Motherhood Restorative Practice is uplifting, refreshing, healing, eye-opening, validating, empowering - and hard to put into words. It’s more of an experience, a feeling. I warmly invite you to consider experiencing Sacred Motherhood Restorative Practice, to show up for yourself, and commit in a brand new way.

"A woman's retreat springs from and is guided by a woman's inner knowing. A woman's retreat is about stepping out of your ordinary experience to listen and attune to you truest, most authentic self. It is about being self-referenced to become self-restored. It is about trusting what you experience as sacred without the need for external sanction. It is setting apart time to tend the hearth of your inner life, feed your muse, reclaim your dreams. A place to reaffirm your values by giving yourself permission to do what you need when you need it, not when you think you should or when someone else thinks you should. About using loving self-discipline to push past limiting beliefs, to instigate change, to bring closure."
